Imagine a world in which everything is designed with purpose, in which both form and function are leveraged to create the best possible products. I want to help build that world.
I'm a Product Designer at Evernote leading design for the Android team and also problem-solving cross-functional design projects across all clients.
Before joining the product design team, I worked on the Evernote Market and Marketing teams where I designed the visual identity of Evernote Market’s products and online and in-app shopping user experiences across multiple touch points, including the website, and global marketing emails. Projects included print, packaging, and brand identity to UX/UI experiential design for screens, devices, and spaces.
My journey to product design started by attending my first Hackathon in college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I wanted to learn mobile app design and collaborate with others who have a passion to innovate challenging problems. The process of creating something from nothing in a short amount of time, learning as you go, and delivering a solution that helps others fuels my passion for mobile design. I value the work I do today, because it has a positive and empowering impact in people’s productivity. Being mobile, the solutions I create are with people everywhere they go.
In my own interests, I am inspired by the bold and contemporary designs of Jonathan Adler, the lettering artists Jessica Hische and Erik Marinovich, and the social projects of Worldstudio. To stay current with the field, I love reading Communication Arts and Medium posts, attending design events, and volunteering with AIGA.
